Murphy was left with the most difficult and troublesome but Chalmers is a standard unto himself. Can he bring hi.self to care about a world and time that only became his through cosmic manipulation. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kindle Customer -- Murphy reads his head and gets punched in the face : These stories area lot of fun especially when it's Chalmers and Jackson but throw Vat, the arms dealer and conman into the loop and fun goes through the roof as does the intrigue. Scams and backroom deals as lost soldiers struggle to survive the alien world they end up with after an alien kidnapping. Good stuff! ( Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2021 )

This continues the journey of the individuals and the rest of Murphy’s Lawless. Different characters intertwine but the real story in this one is can Chalmers “become a better man”. Good story. Jackson is not just a sidekick but I look at him as a kind of jimminy Cricket in all this. Overall another great rest in one of my favorite series. Infiltration by Griffin Barber tries to answer this question as the story of the Lost Soldiers continues and he does this superbly. The story of the smugglers continues with the addition of Chalmers, Jackson, Moose, and Vat. How they achieve success advancing Murphy's plan is the goal. Talented in achieving completed missions, he's now tasked with infiltration the traders who are the enemy of Murphy's lost soldiers who are stranded in space and time. This is a fine story with drama, action, and moral ambiguities that nonetheless are required for the success of Colonel Murphy's mission. Great interaction between Jackson and Chalmers.
